ABOUT ME
I am so excited to be apart of your child's life!
I was born and raised here on the Central Coast. I also went to Judkins Middle School and Arroyo Grade High School. After graduating from AGHS, I attended Cuesta College and then transferred to University of La Verne in San Luis Obispo. Upon graduating with my Bachelor's degree, I was accepted into the Multiple Subject Credential Program at Cal Poly. I was able to do my student teaching at Harloe and Nipomo Elementary, and then I was then fortunate enough to become a Language Support Tutor here at Ocean View where I became a 4th grade teacher the following year.
Ocean View has been my home ever since!
How I Can
HelP?
Common Core can be difficult, not only for students, but for parents as well. Last year we adoptedInvestigations (this should be highlighted some how, like this?) for our math curriculum and it shows multiple strategies to solve a problem. If you have any questions about our math program, please feel free to contact me! Students can always come to me the next day and ask questions regarding their homework.
I will add math videos to this website so that you and your student can review the new strategies we learn in class.
